i already on a canon 530 and i wanted a little more clearer picture and a i thought the stabilizer would help but it works the same as my 530 and i told a sell man in circuit city the problem is the same and he said i needed a 10 mega pixels and that would do what i neeeded he said that there is no difference in the 530 and the 590 but there suppose to be a stablizer in the 590 but i had the same camera.

I am a PICKY Shopper and Shutterbug. My other camera died tragically earlier this year and was ready to be replaced anyways. So I researched the heck out of cameras all summer and got this one. It is great! Nice pics! Took pictures of fireworks at night and family in an outside christmas celebration. Took pics inside with no flash and had wonderful light balance (INSIDE WAS ON "AUTO ADJUST") It worked beautifully !!!! Nice crisp clear pics. It is great for a beginner and also has a lot of bells and whistles for us shutter bugs who want more. Great price ! other stores had this at $270+ dollars.
